PAINT NATURE in WATERCOLOR with Pam McLaughlin!

In this one day workshop, we will explore painting skies, clouds, mountains, trees and more! The day will consist of learning about different skies, a variety of cloud formations, evergreen vs aspen trees and mountains. Multiple small paintings of skies, clouds, trees and mountains will be demonstrated by instructor then painted by participating artists. Several watercolor techniques will be explored.

Painting the Human Face in Watercolor!

Three day Workshop at Art Students League in Denver for 14-17 year olds.

The workshop emphasizes the anatomy of facial features and proper proportion and placement. Students will paint each feature such as the eye, mouth, hair, nose separately then put the whole face together using multiple watercolor techniques.

Paint the Human Skull in Watercolor and Pen and Ink!

Three day Workshop at Art Students League in Denver for 14-17 year olds.

The workshop emphasizes the anatomy of the skull of the human skeleton. Knowing the anatomy of the underlying skeleton is very beneficial to the art of figure drawing.

Students will draw the skull then transfer to watercolor paper. Watercolor and permanent marker will be used to create a one of a kind artwork. If time permits, the skeletal hand will be added.
