PAINTING the HORSE IN WATERCOLOR! Art Students League of Denver

Get painting realistic horses in watercolor in this fun 4 week class. Anatomy and proportion of the horse will be emphasized. Multiple watercolor techniques will be explored. All reference material will be provided.

WEEKLY WATERCOLOR! Arvada Center!

Paint what YOU WANT in this 4 week watercolor class! You get to choose the subject and style of your painting! Pam will help with all aspects of your painting: drawing, composition, watercolor techniques. Students new to watercolor will paint a simple landscape during week one to learn several techniques. Students will need to bring reference materials for their paintings.

INTRO TO PORTRAITS in WATERCOLOR! Arvada Center

Learn the basics of painting the human face in watercolor in this four week class. Students are given step by step instruction on anatomy, drawing and painting the human face. Features of the face such as eye, nose and lips are drawn and then painted. Proportion and proper placement of features are emphasized. Multiple watercolor techniques and color mixing strategies are utilized. In addition to being an artist, Pam is also a physician and uses her expertise of anatomy to create beautiful portraits.

PAINTING FACES in WET ON WET WATERCOLOR! Art Students League Denver

Learn the basics of painting the human face using wet on wet watercolor in this five week class. Wet on Wet watercolor techniques using a plexiglass board creating soft edges will be the focus of the class. This is a technique Pam learned studying with Chinese watercolor master Liu Yi. Students are given step by step instruction on anatomy, drawing and painting the human face. Proportion and proper placement of features are emphasized. 

Week 1: Review of Face anatomy, drawing face anatomy

Week 2: Plexiglass and watercolor basics

Week 3-5: Painting the Face using wet on wet watercolor

INTRO to WATERCOLOR! Arvada Center!

Spend 4 weeks learning how to paint with watercolor!! Watercolor is a beautiful medium that can be loose or realistic in style. Students will explore multiple watercolor techniques and washes. Supplies and color theory will be explained. Students will complete 2 paintings during this fun 4 week class.

WATERCOLOR, PAINT What YOU Want to Paint! Park Hill Art Club

PAINT what YOU want to paint in this FUN 4 week class! Students will work individually on their own watercolor paintings. Instruction on all aspects of the painting process, drawing, color mixing, composition, watercolor techniques and more. Class is for beginner to advanced painters. Students must bring photos and reference materials for their paintings.

Dates: Wednesdays, 1-3 PM, October 29-November 19.

PAINT YOUR DOG in WATERCOLOR! Park Hill Art Club

Draw and paint your dog in this fun one day workshop. In the first week and start of second week, instructor will give step by step instruction in the anatomy, drawing and painting of a dog of her choosing. In week 2 and 3 of class, students will draw and paint their very own dog. Students must bring an 8.5 x 11 photocopy of their dog with the head filling most of the picture.
